Grow Your Own

  Compost for Growing your own Vegetables

We have a great opportunity to get involved in growing your own vegetables. Compost is available for delivery or collection. Two 25L bags per household.   A Seed and plant swap is being encouraged, get in touch with us if you have excess supplies, plant pots will also be very useful to exchange. We now have a plant exchange near the Rockvilla guest House . There is potential for this to continue as a longer term project.

A news item about the project in the Ross -Shire Journal 3rd May 2020

Update 9th May 2020;

Lauren and Ryan at the Rockvilla have kindly offered to “host” a plant exchange in their car park and we hope to have this up and running in the next couple of weeks (weather permitting) . We will be in touch with details then, in the meantime look out any spare plants, seeds, or pots you may have.
